One of three degrees of Canada"s retirement income system, which is in charge of paying disability or retirement benefits. The Canada Pension Plan was created in 1966 to give a basic benefits package for disabled subscribers and retirees. Survivors have the strategy"s supplied benefits in case the recipient dies. The CPP pays a monthly sum, which was created to replace about 25% of the subscriber"s gains where first contributions were based, and is indexed to the Consumer Price Index.
